Saturday, Aril 27 and Rouge Bordeaux was a buzz with activity. Sawyer and Fynn were running around, Julien was cooking and Scott and I were getting to know Alain and Agnes. Alain and Agnes live outside Lyon and that is where they raised their family. Agnes showed me photos of their house and I even got to see their house on Google Maps. It was fun to listen to her stories and see where Julien grew up.
Julien was making chicken and Agnes was making her special potatoes and a chocolate sausage dessert. I couldn’t wait!

Agnes needed some ingredients for her dessert so she and I took Flynn on a walk to the local grocery. It was raining pretty hard.

It finally quit raining and the grass dried out. Scott needed a little exercise and he found himself a new job.
We hung around the house. Quiche was on tap for dinner and Agnes was making that so Julien had the evening off to relax. Isabelle stopped by, Ted and Puru came back from their wine tour and they were all invited to stay for dinner. We had lots of laughs and a great time. The food was pretty good too! Ted and Puru treated us to wine from their winery tour. It was so thoughtful. They also brought some wine for dinner.
