Meandering With Murphy

I have been very remiss in posting and updating you on the absolutely wonderful time we are having here in Italy. The main reason is the heat. It has been 95+++ almost every day. Here is an example of Tuesday, July 18th in Bologna. Now in Minnesota and the rest of the US they’d advise you to not go out and exert energy let alone walk the streets of the city.

This was not uncommon. So, we’d get up and of course have coffee and a pastry. Then we’d decide what we were going to do. Our day would be go out and do something, mostly walking. Have lunch with a glass of wine and come back tired, wet and exhausted and then take a nap. After this we’d freshen up and go to dinner.

I never knew how heat sensitive I was to heat and how exhausting it could be. All of us felt this even Jacob and Katelyn. At night I was just too tired to blog.

The moral of this story is that I will work on this when I get home. I will enjoy the memories all over again and get to share them with you.
